Before we start
You will be speaking with an AI, not a person. It is called Vera, and it asks the questions and follows up on your answers by itself.
It takes about 20 minutes. The conversation is recorded and transcribed so your answers can be written up for the report.
Nothing you say is attributed to you by name. Quotes in the report read "an employee said". Your manager does not see your answers.
You can stop at any point by closing the tab, and you can say so out loud if you would rather not answer something.
Microphone
Please use a headset with a microphone, not your laptop. Two reasons, and both are about other people. Your speakers let the AI hear itself and interrupt itself. And a laptop microphone picks up colleagues talking nearby, which derails the interview and puts their words in a recording they never agreed to. A microphone near your mouth is much louder than a voice across the room, and that difference is what keeps them out.
